How’s DXO compared to Lightroom? Have not used anything but Lightroom and photoshop. And I’ve heard some Raw processors aren’t able to process Sony’s medium and small lossless files. Is this true? Thank you in advance!

I did some research on this brand. They have a pro model with 160gb capacity. The 512gb has a min write speed of 200mb/sec. Pro model has 650mb/sec. Not sure how it translates in real life. It's also a Chinese brand (not saying anything wrong with them). Pergear gets 400mb/sec in real life. Wise is non returnable in B&H. So I prefer Pergear for extra 30-40 dollars as it's getting lots of reviews. If you re getting one please let's know how it works.

Do you know how 1tb Pergear card performs in camera?
I'm thinking of finally buying into CFE-A but I'd like a card that can clear the buffer as fast as possible, or at least close to the fastest available card now

One thing I noticed from the BF sales is that Sony is still selling the ancient A7 ii bodies for a whopping default price of US$1400 (now on sale for $500 off). Wondering if it is really sustainable for Sony to keep the production line for this camera from a business point of view, why other manufacturers aren't doing the same: keeping producing older models even when multiple upgrades have been improved over time.
Personally, I think it is way overpriced at its default price though if this is really profitable for Sony, who am I to say this. Are people in developed countries such as US willing to pay that much for a multiple-generation-old model? I am not saying it's a bad camera at all, by the way.

Please note that using two Wise 512GB CFexpress Type A cards simultaneously in the FX30, FX3, and a7R V may cause the camera to freeze. Not sure now . I have 2 Prograde 160 that I use in a A7RV and was going to keep one in slot 2 than use the Wise as a secondary Slot 1 card but this kinda scares me. I just need an extra card really. Hmmm

Honestly a area I do not screw around is cards so maybe ill just get a 160 Prograde as the backup card

I chickened out and please be careful folks buying cards its the biggest pet peeve I have. Got a Lexar 160 for 259 on Amazon. It's really a backup card but like to keep it safe on these things , I have seen cards go bad over a long career. I kept my cards and vertical grip for the A7RV when I sold it but im renting it for a big gig in January.

Well....a lot of brands are sort of unknowns until discussed. Angelbird was unknown to me, being a European company though, but after buying their CF-A card reader and hearing first hand accounts of their cards working well....it's now known to me.

Pergear was unknown to me as well, and I believe it's a Chinese company. Again, some people played the role of guinea pig and seems as though they are happy with them.

This is just one more uknown to become known. If it turns out to be garbage, it's good collective knowledge share here.

I'm pretty set with my Lexar cards that I bought before some of these other players had come out of the woodwork.
