Nice try. You obviously haven't read any of my previous posts on the Sony forum where I described how much I hated the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 G2 due to heavy vignetting. I also mentioned how I wasn't a fan of Tamron's philosophy of sticking to one filter size; I owned the Tamron 24mm f2.8 and wasn't happy with its clunky size. They could have made it smaller.
In case you think I work for Viltrox, just know that while I love the AF 16mm f1.8, I'm not a fan of its size and weight.
I don't work for Canon either; my R6 was a $2,500 mistake. It's not a reliable camera.
I don't work for Sony either. I have an A7c (my 2nd A7c actually). Sony is incapable of making a compact, affordable, AF, 16mm prime. Also, Sony lenses are overpriced and most lenses from 3rd party manufacturers are either too big or not of a focal length that interests me (a reasonable sized 16-35mm f2.8 that won't cost double of what I paid for my A7c).
I don't work for Nikon either. I hate that Nikon turned its back on all of us former Nikon users when it came out with its Z series; no adapter has the capacity to use my old AF-D lenses in AF. Nikon turned its back on us, so I refuse to ever buy anything Nikon ever again.
I don't work for Pentax. Their dslr's are plagued with electronic issues. I do own a Ricoh GRIII Street Edition, however I wish it was weather resistant.
I don't work for Panasonic or Olympus. I have owned several m4/3 Olympus and Panasonic cameras. Their sensors are too small for low light work.
Did I miss any major manufacturer? Also, every negative opinion I provide is based on my personal experience of having owned the camera or lens I complain about. The only exception is Samyang/Rokinon. I don't plan to ever buy one because I have read dozens of people having issues with reliability and sample variations. I'd rather not take the risk.
Satisfied? Please let me know who else you think I work for....Show more →
Aha, so you about you work for Leica then! 🙂
