I'm interested in finding a reasonably local store that I can build a relationship with in SE Wisconsin (I'm in Brookfield, but would gladly drive for a good shop). There are a few I've found online (Art's in Greenfield and Crivello's in Brookfield) but would appreciate any leads on ones that Wisconsin types have found are really good. I've noticed that great camera shops are a dying breed, harder to find than in the past.

In Morton, Illinois, there is APS, Authorized Photo Service. They do excellent work, and if you call, they pick up the phone and will answer questions. It's about a 3.5-4 hour ride for you, or you could ship it to them.

APS is actually in Morton Grove, IL which is about 1.5 hour drive from Brookfield, WI.
