I just purchased a used RX100 II and discovered that when I take the battery out to charge and put a new one in, the camera prompts me to set the date and time, indicating that the internal battery is dead.
I've tried plugging the camera in via a micro USB cable with a wall brick for 24 hours, but that didn't seem to help.
For those of you that have experienced this - do I need to use a particular kind / type of USB cable and brick to make charging work? I do not have the original cable or brick.
This date thing is *really* annoying and I'm hoping for a solution.
