Well, it would interest me as well. It would give me a better understanding why some lenses are decentered and others not. Is it a physical limit? Or poor quality control of grinding single lenses?
Leica (traditionally) and Voigtlander (today) are reported to select lenses in such a way that different lenses in a camera lens compensate their manufacturing errors. This actually means that there migt be manufacturing tolerances that cannot be improved on, but selection of single glas lenses in a certain way could nevertheless improve overall performance.
