This kingfisher showed up just as it was starting to get dark at the West Pond of Jamaica Bay National Wildlife Refuge. I'd removed my TC to get more light just before I spotted it and I put it on and cranked the ISO as I needed to give the kingfisher space and not scare it off. The fishing images are from a number of dives. I'd started to work other subjects when the sun broke through the clouds producing some sweet gap light just before sunset.

Perfect timing on #5, Morris. When I saw #4 I thought it was going to dive beak first into the branch hanging in the water but #5 relieved me of that concern.
In all, great shots!

That's cool that you were able to catch hunting sequences from beginning to end, Morris, with some real nice BIFs.

These are nice Morris. I wish mine were this good. I like #4,5,7 and 8.
