Sometimes, ya just never know what is going to invade your shot...

Sony ILCE-7RM5 FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS ƒ/6.3 600.0 mm 1/2500 iso250

The thing with pelican's, is you hardly ever get to see in that big yap what they catch before they swallow.

Sony ILCE-7RM5 FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS ƒ/6.3 600.0 mm 1/2500 iso250

Needs more hair spray...

Cool shots Eric and I sure agree about not knowing exactly what might happen during a shot. Love that last shot.

Thanks Karl, the more the merrier, right? As a old film shooter, to this day I have to fight the urge to "conserve shots" from the old mentality of limited rolls and the cost of processing. I also have to fight the urge to put the A7RV into H+ shutter mode, or I'll be sorting extra pics for days.

Hi Morris, no, due to telephoto compression he wasn't quite as close as he appears. BUT what does leave me scratching my head a little is how big the pelican still looks, even though it is way behind the heron. This would frustrate Godzilla movie makers no end, the guy up front in the rubber suit is supposed to look HUUUUUUGE!

Thanks Louie, yeah, sometimes it's like a box of cracker jacks, you never know if you will get the toy you always wanted or the little comic strip.
