Anyone ever have a Nikon swm apart? The actual sonic motor, not the gear drive one.....i'm curious and would like to know how you got it apart and if you took any pics.
The SWM motors used in most lenses are still ultimately attached to gears, but I am not sure if that's the distinction you're trying to make. Or do you mean the SWM ring motors used on larger lenses?
