The bokeh on the second one is busy, but beautiful. I love it. It adds character to the scene.

Yes, the Nokton 58mm are a bit to busy at times, depending on enviroment. Sometimes just smooth.

I have one Voigtlander for Nikon lens - the venerable 90mm f3.5 APO-Lanthar F-mount (I have. the 35. and 50 ALs. for E-mount). I use this both on my Nikon Df and adapted on my Sony cameras (sharper than my Sony 24-105 @90mm).

Here is one of my first images after getting this lens from a fellow FM-er. One of our backroads here on the Flathead Reservation in western Montana

Yesterday, I bought the Nokton f1.0 to put it on a future ZF. I noticed my dog was quiet outside on the balcony so I put the lens on my Z6 to see how it performs in a low-light situation.

I set the aperture to 1/15, which is relatively slow, but my dog was still. This gave me an ISO of 20000. I took a few pictures until I could nail the focus on the eye.

Then I wondered what would happen if I processed the NEF file with Topaz Photo AI. My use of this utility so far has been a bit of sharpening. This time, I must say I'm astonished. The level of detail it added to the picture as well as the noise reduction, resulted in a picture that is much better than I was expecting, considering how dark it was.

With most image sites, including Flickr, you copy the image address, paste to your post, then the image will show. You don’t need to be on paying membership to post images.

Folks who are using either M or E version VM lenses. Do focus ring and Aperture ring rotate the same as Nikon's direction or the opposite directions ?? Also, for M version, any difference in usage / ergo because of Rangefinder function ?

Has anyone tried the Voigtlander M to Z close focusing adapter? It seems nicely made, but is expensive. Worth it?

I have been using one and it's well made. I also tried a lower price (non-Voigtlander) close focusing adapter of M-to-L mount (without lock tab), which is also well made but with much lower price. I can't really answer if Voigtlander M-to-Z close focusing adapter is worth the price. Maybe it depends on how frequent you will use M lenses on Z body.

If you use the flickr url to the image that has the .jpg at the end of it, just paste it like that into your post and it won't require a click in.
