I was at the pond a couple days ago and the Hooded Mergansers were having a heyday working the pond. They were catching fish right in front of me, some were a little large, which was fun to watch, and the others were trying steal their catches. A fun day!

Wow Chris, I need to know where this pond is, Hoodies are one of my favorites especially when they are catching fish. It seems like one of these big fish would be enough to last a week for them. Bruce

Fantastic action shots! That Hoodie was determined to get that rather large fish down the hatch
