I thought it would be fun if anyone is going to meet up for dinner a few times while there. Let me know if you're interested. I'm planning on December 5th through the 9th of December.

Seriously considering a trip the Bosque during that time period. I have not been back since covid, and miss meeting up my bro Mike who passed away from covid Bruce

About 20 years ago I was looking through an Outdoor Photographer magazine and saw an image from Bosque that I'm pretty sure was one of George Lepp's. If my memory serves it was similar to your #4. It was that image that started my interest in wildlife photography. I'm guessing 20 years later that shot would pale in comparison to your beauties here. I've only been once about 12 years ago and have been dying to get back. Unfortunately around that time I'll still be assisting my daughter through her medical ordeal. Would love to be able to meet up with you and some other members. I'll let you know if anything changes.

Hey Gary, about the same time I was just beginning to take up photography and my wife discovered a workshop at Bosque sponsored by Canon . The subject was shooting with big lenses and Canon furnished cameras and lenses so I got to shoot with a 600F 4 instead of my cheapo 300 F 5.6. I was so amazed with Bosque that I fell in love with wildlife photography and it changed my life. Bruce

I've just learned that the Crane Festival is going on during that time period so I might change my plans on when to go. I'll let you know Bruce.
