I almost didn't stop for this shot from the Kootenay Valley Viewpoint. It was midday so the light wasn't great, the parking lot was almost full, and it was a bit hazy. There aren't many pull-outs on this road so I figured I'd better. The RAW version didn't inspire but a heavy dose of dehaze got it ready for Silver FX.

Storm Mt. (note larches turning in the forest below)

Don't know the name of the next two mountains.

Note dead burned trees from an old fire.

Mt. Temple. I climbed the standard scramble route on the opposite side back in 69, then the Lowe rt. on the north face (on the right in this photo) in 79. Every time I view this mountain it stirs up strong memories.
