A group of about 500 sanderling sandpipers was working its way along the waters edge at Nickerson Beach and had stopped in front of me to feed when a large wave came in too fast for them to run.

I like how one bird can seemingly be frozen and in focus while others are moving fast enough to get some motion blur, fun stuff Morris.
