Hi I shoot my Voigtlander 50mm 1.2 all the time and would love to explore how to enhance its close focusing capability to be able to shoot "more macro". Are there any tried and tested techniques or specific add-on kit that you can recommend? I tried reverse mounting with mixed results so hands on experience from others much welcome.

Try the Marumi DHG Achromat: Either in +3 or +5.
With the +3 you'll get a max. magnification of 1:3.19, with the +5 it'll be 1:2.43.
Far from macro but expanding its capapbilities. Field curvature and imcreased abberations are some issues, though.
