The R8 is a great body. For landscape work it’ll be an excellent performer. Sure higher resolution bodies will give you a bit more detail, it professional landscape photographers used 16-24MP bodies for years and years, and that was with sensors far worse than the R8s with regards to dynamic range. The sensor in the R8 is fantastic, and it also has world class AF if you want to shoot some action as well.
