Hey,

I have had a chance to see an oystercatcher at our local beach. They do not breed or appear too often around my place. So that was a very pleasant surprise to me when a young one decided to stay for around two weeks at our closest beach. I have visited him both in the morning, when the sun rose at the sea, and in the evening, when the sun set behind a very steep cliff.

All of the pictures were resized to 2048, exported, and resized even further to 1600px by Flickr.

Wonderful looking set Michael. You must have had a great time observing there interesting behaviors. If you get to spend enough time with them, they accept you and show there're personalities.

I really enjoyed your eye level perspective and intimate landscapes included with some of these.

You certainly made the most of the opportunity. Nice set of photos with numbers 8, 9, and 10 being my favorites of the lot. Very well done.

It was indeed very pleasant to watch the oystercatcher and fun to take pictures. I hope another one will visit us next year too.

P.S. this is the place where he was. It is a very picteresque place. Young couples have photo shoots there all the time. Actually when I was shooting the oystercatcher 3 to 5 couples at the same time had their wedding sessions there
