A square crop would be an obvious and favored choice for this image. This image supports crops from square to a 16:9 vertical panorama depending on the message you want to communicate. I think I chose possibly the worst compromise in attempt to decrease "non-contributing space" comments. I think I prefer a composition that includes more "sense of place" as a contributing theme for this image.
