10 days and a bit more is totally normal for packages to be shipped between US/Canada and Europe. I just sent a package to Germany which was actually quite fast clearing the customs and was delivered on the 10th day. Not uncommon to wait about 15 days with customs etc when shipped not as priority. All packages go via plane but customs can take some time.

It definitely is variable. I've sent parcels to France that arrived within five days, whereas parcels shipped to Boston can sometimes take three weeks. We mailed a CD to someone in Vermont that took three months to get there; it's only a four-hour drive from here.

hopefully the camera will get here during that time

I was sick for a few days, covid again I guess, but posted it to the next in line on the 26th. Sorry for adding delay.

I checked and it was delivered/picked up on the 28th.

It should be. We haven't comunicated after the camera was sent, but as I said the posal-tracking says that it was delivered on the 28th. I'll drop him a message.
