Here's what I got from this relatively rare event today. It was taken at 1:25 pm or 13 minutes after maximum coverage. I hope to see some total ring of fire pics from this event here. Orion 80mm Solar Filter

Nice job!

It was cloudy here in NYC today yet this is from the Great American Eclipse on 8/21/17 and taken in Idaho where we had about 3 minutes of totality.

We will be in Texas for the next total eclipse. We chose our locations based on amount of totality and percentage of clear days.

It went from overcast to partly cloudy here just about maximum coverage which was 52%
