Does anyone remember a website with a download product that had the name "1, 2, 3" in it? You paid about $50 and could download a complete course on color theory for photographers? It was a long time ago and I'm not getting any results on Google searches.

Blake Rudis is an incredible source for discussions on color theory. Check out his website at https://f64academy.com/. If you do a search on youtube you can find a lot of his stuff from a few years ago for LR, On1 Photo Raw where he discusses color theory and approaches for adjusting tone, color, WB, etc.

IF you want to get some good understanding of color theory ... Dan Margulis goes pretty deep. I have a couple of his early books on Photoshop and LAB, that served as my foundation (Amazon, used). Those were written back before photoshop had so many bells / whistles / features / etc. So, the books were pretty deep in color theory, since there wasn't nearly as many widgets to cover.

Dan is still around and runs a small online forum on it. A few years ago, he ran a weekly "image correction" challenge. If you're not familiar with him ... pioneer of color theory (in our digital PS realm) wouldn't be too far of a stretch. Dan is probably, long forgotten by most folks, in the advent of those who followed in his footsteps, but were much better marketers / promoters than Dan.

Is there a particular aspect regarding Color Theory that you are interested in?

Thanks so much for the responses! I'm looking for a specific thing that is included in this old software download that is still relevant today. It's way old, maybe 15 years or so, but it was a very thorough treatise on color theory and included a great discussion and great graphics explaining a very technical topic. I used to have this software, but it fell off the radar and I'd like to find it again.

If you don't find it ... technical treatise is very Dan oriented. Strong breakdown to the fundamentals of light, etc.

GL with your search for 123.
