I am experiencing a strange meeting situation, just started happening.
When I place the meter on "spot" and I use the range finder, the image information states "center weighted".
When I use LV with the meter set on "spot", the image information states "spot".

This also applies when viewing the image information on the back of the screen. I see 'center weighted' on the image information where spot has been set in camera.
Not sure if I caused this little issue or if there is something else happening. Latest firmware.

If I remember correctly the spot meter on the M 10 M only works in live view or EVF.

You are absolutely correct, I've been searching for the last 30 minutes and spot only works with live view. Rangefinder defaults to center weighted. Thank you all for the clarification.
