My wife and I are on an open ended trip to BC and Alberta in our truck camper. We started off on Vancouver Isl. to avoid the smoke in the Rockies. Some much needed rain has helped that so we are now in Revelstoke and will hike in Glacier Park today. The cloudy skies this last week have me shooting for B&W.

We wanted to camp at this little park north of Powell River, but it's closed so we walked the road down to the beach then boondocked in a parking spot near the gate.

When I have wifi at campgrounds (rare) I'll post more.

I like both Jim. First is my favorite but it feels like it is tipping a bit, might just be how the horizon is working with the water though. That bright line at the water is perfect though.

What a great area to be in for an open ended trip. I suppose eventually the rainy season will move your needle, but meanwhile you're sure coming up with some beautiful images.

Great photos! I hope you are having a great trip! In August, BC was a mess. It should be a lot nicer now, although it's probably getting cool.

My guess is that he was referring to the horrible fires.
