Anyway to lock shutter speed on the R6MARK II, so you can't accidently change it? Was shooting at a school today (same setting with strobes every picture) then my shots were going dark turns out the shutter speed got moved into HSS territory. Took me a minute to realize. Seems like the lock button locks aperture but not shutter speed.

Like the R3 noted above, the R6II has a custom function in the 'wrench' (yellow) menu, tab 5 - Multi function lock. Check your settings there because you can individually enable/disable which dials/controllers are locked.

If you are shooting in TV mode, the lock lever (not button), locks the shutter speed.

That menu in the r6II only allows you to lock one function button/wheel at once, not at least 2, or all at the same time. kind of annoying... I want both aperture and shutter speed locked. I'm shooting in manual mode.

Not following you... that custom function allows you to apply the lock to whichever combination of the applicable controls you desire.

If you are shooting in Manual, do not put ISO on Auto. With the Lock lever set between OFF and ON, in the LOCK position, neither aperture nor shutter speed will change when the lighting changes.

Got it, I have no idea why I was having so much trouble with that menu. For whatever reason my settings weren't sticking, it was only allowing me to pick one at at time, I pulled the battery out and put it back in and now it's fine... who knows. Have had a lot of gremlins this week. Thanks.
