I've been fighting some kind of light leak/contamination for many months. It's been pretty frustrating, but in this one photo it actually looks kinda cool, like a sun ray. I really wish I hadn't clipped the top of the cloud though, I think I was paying too much attention to the dude walking up the glacier. Ilford HP 5+ @ 800.

Hey, there's always generative fill. No, no, just kidding. I don't think the shot is wrecked at all by clipping the cloud. Really cool (no pun intended) shot that gives a strong sense of isolation.

Careful cloning and GenFill work.
I also dont feel the images is "wrecked". I love clouds!

Just an idea - try cropping off a bit *more* of the cloud at the top. Just a smidge. Enough that your eye doesn't *expect* to see the top of the could - then the distraction is completely eliminated. I think the slight change in aspect ratio will also benefit.

I like that idea of cropping more off the top -- make it look deliberate. Maybe around 1/2 way through the top "arm" of the cloud? I like the grittiness and the hiker.
