Anyone have luck removing minor scratches from your camera screen. If so, how? Would glass polish work? Just got some minor ones on my r6II screen. I've used my 5d4 since it came out heavily and never got a scratch on the screen, so I didn't think it was that easy to do. Guess I need to order a screen protector.
Thanks!

I looked at the specification for the r6II LCD screen coating on the Canon USA site:

"Clear View LCD II
- Anti-smudge coating applied.
- Anti-reflection coating not applied."

Using a polish of any type will likely remove the Anti-smudge coating. At least there is no Anti-reflection coating to damage.

I am not sure if the screen is plastic or glass so that affects what type of polish is used. For a plastic screen use plastic polish obtained from most any auto parts supply and if glass then Cerium Oxide polish that is easily found online would need to be used.

Perhaps there is some chance of damage to the Touch-screen Operation feature from messing with it? I suspect not however I could be wrong about that.

My recommendation would be to leave well enough alone and live with the scratches as they do not affect the images produced by the camera.

I have a slight smudge on my 6D screen from rubbing against some other gear in my camera bag. The R6 screen doesn't get used and is permanently folded inwards. The smudge on the 6D is annoying but I haven't been tempted to try and remove it. Leave well enough alone, with my luck I'd only make it worse.

I cracked the top LCD on my D300 and then my D500. Purely cosmetic on both. I put screen protectors on them and years later they still work perfectly
