Nikon 180-600 Arca-Swiss options?

Just got my 180-600mm today, and I am wondering if any company has an Arca-Swiss mounting option in development.

I don't prefer the use of screw on plates.

I wouldn’t count on it as the foot is part of the collar. So it’d have to be an entire collar replacement and the cost to manufacture that is going to be excessive compared to the cost of the lens. I bought a cheap 2-screw plate, 3/8’s screw for that hole and 1/4 for the other, very solid and won’t twist.

A screw on plate will provide a much greater range of movement on a tripod head to balance the lens with a camera attached than any third party foot can provide.

I believe Kirk made a new collar and foot for the 200-500 so they will probably do the same for the 180-600 but it will take another few weeks at least!

RRS and Kirk have made collars for many lenses in the past that have had collars like that on the 180-600mm. They've all had an integrated Arca-Swiss foot.
