Saw the announcement on Facebook for this 100th Anniversary fly in for the WACO airplane and my girlfriend and I thought it would be great to see these classics gather. We missed out on the high count on Saturday and we arrived Sunday to learn that over half had departed due to weather on Sat sadly.

However, first time attending and had a great time and I got us tickets for a flight which was incredible, side by side front seat open air and a deafening roar to that radial engine! All good, perfect weather and a nice flight.

Will share some images, have plenty and there was a Jet RC that was incredible to watch that I have some pics of also.
I will include the Pilot sign in board, I am sure some of you know some of these folks and maybe some of you are these folks

Oh man Karl! My favorite of aircraft! Open air and slow. Your images are super Karl! Did the pilot allow you to "grab the stick" for a moment? Hope so!

We rode up front of the pilot Dan. There were pedals but no stick I wish I could have had the stick for a bit, I have done a little bit of flying with a friend of mine in a Cherokee 140, a few approaches and some taxiing. That engine is loud!! What a blast we had. My first time on a grass runway as well
