Hey all, long time listener, first time photo poster.

Not sure if this is a natural behavior, but I like to think that this tricolored heron herding fish with its wings has picked up a few tricks from some of its reddish egret neighbors.

Reddish egret for scale (no banana available)

These are great!
Love the TriColored dancing!
Wish we had them more in Michigan.
Caught the one up here this past summer but
from my understanding that's an extremely rare event.

First time photo poster?? Well a HUGE WELCOME to the posting participation of the forum

Lovely subject, beautiful color and light and poses. Perhaps a bit of tweaking on the NR program or sharpening process to look at as a moving forward suggestion. Excellent shooting and sure hope to see more.

Superb images, beautiful color, background, exposure, sharpness, low perspective, poses, peak action, Karl's suggestion of NR might be helpful but not bad on my monitor. Bruce

Thank you! Since NR has come up, do you (or anyone else) have suggestions about NR? More? Less? I’m definitely new to the editing part of the equation.

Excellent set, great subject and nice background. #3 is my favorite, though a little over-sharp for my taste. Thanks for sharing!
