I've been driving around Banff and Jasper NP this last weekend shooting fall colors up there. Both parks look great already and a lot of yellow can be seen/photograph already. A few days ago I had an amazing show of Aurora lights while shooting Milky Way. I used my Nikon 50mm f/1.2 at 1.2 to shoot a quick pano while the sky was still red. It truly was crazy red. I've never seen this red before and I wasn't even that far north. Must've been a very high KP number, and intensity of light.

Funny, I saw once (a long time ago) shot from the Bow lake and I've got inspired. I went there and it is so easy to take it (the comp I've got in the first shot). I was just standing on the first bridge (the small wooden bridge. I think they have two of them). That's it. I shot it at sunset and sunrise and liked sunrise better (this is a sunrise spots after all, at least this time of year).

Oh Greg these are absolutely beautiful! Outstanding photography!
I doubt there will be much color here in Mary-land due to the hottest summer in history as well as months of no rain.
Many trees have lost their leaves already!

I got OT...OUTSTANDING Fall color!
