Hi everyone!

I hope you are doing well

Here is a small set of pictures taken during a recent trip to southern Costa Rica with a few local friends.

Bat Falcon approaching its favorite log. A1 and 600/f4+1.4TC

Crested Caracara and rice paddy. same gear - the 1.4TC

Slaty-tailed Trogon

Yellow-headed Caracara flying towards the camera. A1 and 600f/4.

Speckled Tanager feeding her baby.

Streak-chested Antpitta, a real smurf from the forest floor!

Looks like another successful outing for you Juan. The bat falcon is a new species for me, as I did not even know it existed... lovely shot. I also like the interaction between the speckled tanager... fantastic.

I enjoyed them all but the Speckled tanagers are over-the-top!
