I was surprised when I looked up from the viewfinder to see a family of raccoons staring at me. I was tucked back in the weeds so I think at first they weren't sure what I was. Anyway, they stuck around long enough for me to get a few shots of them.

Nice encounter and great pics! Not trying t be critical but was your WB on auto or Daylight? I ask because there's slight bluish tone on a couple.

Thanks Rolando, I was shooting Auto WB. These guys were in the shade as you can tell from the Exif Data and that may have led to any color error. Thanks for your comments.

Fun set Louie. 3 looks spooked and 4 ready for a hand out.

You may already know that if you are shooting RAW, you can change the white balance in post.

What a great find Louie. We all know that this species is everywhere, but they rarely come out when we have a chance to see them.
I love raccoons and you did an amazing job finding and photographing them.
