p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · canon R8 overheats after 20-25m of capturing 4k HDMI!

Was recording some video today in the way I always do, capturing the video off the HDMI port. After about 20-25m, the red temperature warning light pops on.

Wow, what a disappointment...

returned it and bought an R6 MK II. So far no issues although the UI is a bit screwy when it comes to HDMI...

Haven't used the HDMI output on my R6 MK II but it can record 4K video until the battery dies.
