I think 70-200/2.8 L IS was my first L lens when I switched to the Canon 20D almost twenty years ago. I've shot sports and portraiture with it and it's outstanding performer. Love the bokeh and sharpness. I haven't used it for a long time mainly because of its weight and heft and even thought about selling or trading it. However when I bought the R6MKII earlier in the year I thought about using the telezoom lens again. The AF speed and accuracy is even better with the R6MKII. I've already used it three times this year for a tennis shoot and two beach shoots. I think it is a great lens if I am not going to do a lot of walking. It's very versatile and plan to keep it for a few more years.
