Probably my last kayak outing of this year. I'm heading back to California shortly and by the time I return everything will have pretty much moved on and this lagoon will be close to freezing over. Thanks for taking a look. Gary

Hard to pick a favorite, these are all super, and then adding the whole kayak floating platform to the equation makes them incredible. Well done Gary!

Top quality set Gary. The great egret and great blur heron blast offs are incredibly similar. Have a wonderful time in CA.

California sounds like a good escape for a while.

I like the first image, just a great natural feel to it. Not normally a fan of full reflections but the #5 is rather relaxing and pleasing.

That was actually pretty funny. I saw this clump of willow branches moving upstream and thought that was pretty weird. Then I saw the head pop up and it made more sense

He just about swam headfirst into the front of my boat before he realized what I was

Then I got the big "tail splash".

Thanks very much Greg.
Just as an observation ; For the last couple years I've been making an effort to not flush these types of birds out and I do back off quite often. I'm finding that makes for a more peaceful overall experience when out on the water. However, I also find them flying back and forth to different spots wether I'm around or not so I don't know how much I'm really affecting them. This guy, for instance flew towards me rather than away from me. A bit too close actually

Thanks Karl. My trips to visit my daughter are a little different these days. She discovered a lump back in June. She's more than halfway through with her therapy and is back teaching for the time being so that's good. I'll just be there to help out with my grandson. A real punch in the gut for everyone.
