Which lenses would you keep if you were forced to keep just five lenses out of your collection of two dozen lenses?

This includes your legacy lenses, adapted lenses, manual focus lenses, character lenses, pro zooms, GM primes, etc... All of them. Five is the hard limit.

Had a hard time to decide between a second 35mm and something longer than 85mm, but I'd be happy with this.

I currently try to limit myself to 9 or 10. If it had to be 5, then:
35GM
135GM
Tamron 28-75 G2
70-200GM ii
20G (hard choice between a ultra wide zoom)

I assume having a 1.4TC doesn’t count as an extra lens

The only one of those I don’t own is the 70-200, it would take the role of my 85DN and 70-350G. I think this post was intended to reduce GAS, not induce it.

I should have added 20G to the list but there were only 5 spots. Incredible optically and can do so much for stills and video on a high resolution body.

At the moment, here are my top five AF lenses (although I shoot more with MF!):

Loxia 35 (I would love to try the CV35 APO)

(Thankfully, I don't have to choose my Canon kit right now!

The CV 15 & 28-60 might seem like odd choices but I got great centered copies of both, making for a prefect lightweight landscape kit for me. And, this also assumes the scenario is that you keep what you already currently own, as I'd probably want to trade the 24 GM for a 16-35 2.8 II if forced to only own 5 lenses.
