Following up from my post in the B&W forum: color shots from above Middle Fork Lake, heading up to the saddle above Pronghorn Peak. Funny thing: I'd been re-listening to the Harry Potter books & had just finished the one where Harry finds out that his father's nickname was 'Prongs". Seemed appropriate to then be looking at Pronghorn Peak. This first one was about 1/4 of the way up to the saddle that, in one direction, looked at Pronghorn and Dragonhead and the other way to Bonneville Peak. The second is from the aforementioned saddle. I was hoping for the sun to break through, but at the one break in the clouds, the sun's rays were too weak to reach Pronghorn, so I packed up, just beating the first lightning strikes less than a minute later. The thunder was maybe 3 seconds behind. My dog & I hightailed it down the talus slopes back to our camp 2 1/2 miles below.
