That is a screaming deal for an i2, I am super jealous. As I understand it the i2 is extremely similar except the LCD, a brighter focusing screen, and a few flash changes, and not requiring the Master Control Unit. What do you think, is it worth searching for one over an i?
And yeah, Hasselblad lens versions are much easier to find; also a lot easier to find lens mount adapters to use them on DSLR & Mirrorless.
Is it worth it? The i2 has the ability to accept digital backs, it's a few years newer and thus the circuitry is more modern. Not much else; the 6008i has LEDs which I find better to see in the dark than the LCD. BTW, got the 6008i in all the original boxes for $900 a few years before. Be tenacious because they come up now and then. I passed on the large 300mm lens that's an optical gem but weighs in at 4 lbs. That was an underpriced lens at KEH for $800. Regret taking a pass on that one but it's a tripod lens and a hefty one at that. On the other hand, found a Schneider 60/3.5 for $750 at Adorama two years ago.
