With time on my hands today and perfect light in the backyard I went back out to shoot the hostas with my A7rV and new 70-200mm F/4 II.
This is a close repeat of a shot I posted yesterday. This time I did a manual set of focus brackets on the central leaf, then shot one at F/4 to soften the background. The processing took much more time than the shooting. First I had to use Sony Imaging Edge software to combine the 16 pixel shift shots into an ARQ - not fast on my Mac Pro M1 max with 64 Gb. Then I focus stacked those in PS, saved that, and finally layered the F/4 version above the focus stack with a mask on the central leaf. With that flattened I took it into Silver FX Pro for the B&W conversion.

Another pixel shift manual focus stack.
