Dreary and chilly outside this morning. Looking more like Fall then late summer.
Although I guess it's suppose to be in the 90's all next week.
Anyways, used the 70-200 with 2x tc as I sold my 300 2.8 while I decide
what long lens to get.

Lovely set. Are you going to upgrade to one of the mirrorless bodies? They are game changers. That might affect your lens choice.

I have no plans to. D5 is more camera than I have skill lol. The more I work(just a couple of months now) with it
and figure out what it likes in post, the more I enjoy the results from it. AF and ergos are outstanding. It's basically
nice not having to worry about ISO with the D5. So clean in the higher ISO. Not sure there's a mirrorless equivalent yet?
I just can't see paying double if not more to upgrade. F Glass is cheap so there's that to. 600-500-400mm FL
can be had for $6K give or take. Still eyeballing that 500 PF though. More than likely it'll be the 500 f4 FL since I
believe I can still man handle it. Many say the 600 is handholdable to but I don't know. That's what I really want.
