I have had this 'Swiss Army' knife since I was in the second grade (I'll turn 50 this year). The knife was a gift from my parents. Dad had one just like it, and I always wanted one. I cut myself whittling sticks at a campfire, and carried it pretty much everywhere with me except school. When I got into college it was in my toolbox for work, and I eventually lost it, only for it to be found again going through some things at my parent's place after dad passed away. It journeyed with me on our move to Switzerland, which is funny, and fitting I guess.
This is an attempt at an HDR focus stack. Still learning about macro, but enjoying capturing these little things around me - fingerprints, dirt, and all. Stacked in Helicon after merging the brackets in Lr. Was trying to make sure to capture the detail in the blade, which was getting blown out.
