I think nearly everyone, including me, thinks of Rock Pigeons as plain, ordinary birds, so I'm often surprised when I photograph them how beautiful they are. They definitely have the benefit that in many places they are accustomed to humans so it possible to get very close, as you demonstrate with these remarkable images.
