Here are some more Ruby Throated Hummingbirds photographed at Kissena Park here in New York City. The first is a young male, all the others are females. The males have mostly moved south leaving the females to take care of the young and guide them south in about a month.

I especially like #2 -- it's such a treat to see the HB perched on the Trumpet vine flower.

Great stuff. I like the very minor blur in the wings. I know some like them crisp and clean but I still like a bit of motion. Great work.

They are curious little creatures. I love to sit and watch them fly around, sometimes stopping right in front of my face for a look.
