I like the first one best, and prefer it over the color version.

Thanks. I’m torn on BW / Color because I like how the cans repeat the mural colors…

That is true, but in B&W the yellow turns white and yields a strong triangle between the left can, the bucket, and the head. Also, there are three black cans. O well, as usual both versions have something going for them.

Excellent tonal control and effective compositions. I also prefer the first image. I do see your point about the yellows matching up in that shot. No reason we can't appreciate both the color and the b&w for their own strengths.

I love any wall murals Mike. What I dont like is the trash they leave behind. Geeez, just pick it up and the mural will be much more appreciated by the passerby!
