I have been having a problem with my ef-s 17-55mm on my M6 MKII body, itīs giving me the error 01 faulty lens communication what is interesting is that it only happens on my specific M6 MKII body, so OS and autofocus donīt work.
I have sent my body to a canon repair center since itīs still covered by the warranty, they said it all was fine.
Has this ever happened to someone out there? And if so what did you try to fix it?
Note: It only happens on my specific M6 MKII body as the lens works in other M6 MKII bodyīs and it only happens with this lens

Try cleaning the contacts on the lens and camera with a clean eraser.
