Beautiful. I wonder what it would look like shot as a focus stack to get the foreground sharp?

I think a sharp foreground would detract from the sharpness of the reflection -- I think it's excellent just as it is, with one minor exception. It appears to have been a focus stack based on the blurring of the clouds at 1/50 Sec shutter speed. Maybe I'm all wet, but if it is a stack, I would consider using one frame to replace the clouds.

Regardless, it is a drop dead beautiful images and I'm envious.

Thanks. I'll have to check. This is a 'high rez' stack of 10 images. Stack mode was median. I'll go and compare to a single frame and see but you're probably right. Either way, I appreciate the comment.

Great use of those huge lakes! You guys did such a phenomenal job out there! Gorgeous, black, and white. I think it works perfectly as it is. But it could work the other way as well. I guess you guys are just gonna have to go out there again! I’m considering having two days here at White pocket next year on the workshop. Oh, by the way, I am posting from my tent right near the spot!

Two days would be a great option. There are so many compositions in White Pocket!
