For me all that's needed is frames 1, 3 and 6. The background is wonderful as is the action you captured Kambiz.

Thx Morris as always...

Very cool sequence, and technically wonderful images. TFS.
It's interesting. The second image made me think the Peregrine was coming in too low, and was going to struggle to stick the landing, but obviously it worked out fine Did it make it's approach to the perch from lower (i.e. was the approach an upward trajectory)? I can't get a hint from the first image because the perch isn't in the frame.
Thx. And yes, indeed, the falcon went down a bit and then swooped upwards to land on his perch. And apparently this is a common maneuver among larger birds. I just did a quick google search, and they have even written papers on it
Optimization of avian perching manoeuvres
They swoop up "because swooping upwards transfers kinetic to potential energy before collision"

Maryam and Kambiz: I don't know which of you photographed this series. Great background, IQ and dynamic poses.
Beautiful
Haha... Thx Ted... All pictures posted here are taken by me (Kambiz) unless explicitly stated otherwise . My wife (Maryam) is more into nature/landscape shots, and much less into wildlife/birds.
