I am such a lazy editor!
I'm staring at about 1000 folders shot between 2021 and the present that have not had a critical edit. All the images presented are final selects from one amazing winter day when a pair of long-eared owls spent 3 hours hunting a snow-covered cattail marsh.

Thanks Pete... I actually printed it last night with my Epson P900... just a small one, but will probably print it large in the next week or so.

Well better late than never Bruce! It's nice to have some in the vault to work on as you find the time, my vault is very very empty.
These are excellent. Second to last is a chillingly awesome shot!

Beautiful Bruce. The auto focus worked well in that driving snow. I love the long ears.

Fabulous, Bruce!

Maybe there's just not a lot to do to improve these. I think they speak for themselves. The snow was definitely value-added in my opinion.

Karl, Thanks for sharing your thoughts...
I envy your empty vault... I shoot a lot and am always late to edit and process. I love being behind the camera, am good with the digital darkroom, but loathe selecting so called "bests."

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Dave.
I am always amazed by the quality of the AF system on modern cameras... While people argue about how one AF system is better than another, or whine about the failings of the AF in their camera, I tend to be less than critical. If you learned photography with manual focus cameras and suffered through primitive AF systems with "screw-drive" mechanisms, one can only be in awe of what a modern camera can do.
