Out early this morning as today is "NYC Summer Streets". The city closes off Park Ave and south to lower Manhattan for runners, walkers, and bikers to parade down city streets. Plenty of joyous participation and celebration by many NY'ers.

Love them Steve! #2and#3

It is brutal, temps/humidity wise, here. Just stepping outside and I am sweating already. Leaves are falling from lack of rain. Grass feels like walking on nails.

Glad this took place early!

People look like they're really enjoying it! I really want to participate in Summer Streets at some point. I wish they would do this more than just 3 weekends a year.

I know the program is a big success. It's running again in Manhattan this Saturday, Aug.19th. And then on Saturday, August 26th, in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
