Just some of shots of a hyperactive flutterby... he was extremely excited over this one patch of dry dirt with a few weeds and sucker growth off of tree roots etc, they weren't even flowering plants that I could tell, but it seems super happy to be bouncing around between them. Weird!

Maybe there was something else to feed on that I didn't notice...? I didn't see any animal droppings or tree sap, but who knows...maybe some kid spilled his sugary soda there.

Super job Eric! It has been a dreadfully hot, humid and rainless summer here. I planted lots of zinnias in huge concrete pots for the butterflies. Water 2-3x's a day in just a pot to keep the flowers upgright is worth it! Mucho butterflies!
