Okay see if you folks can help. I have the 6700 coming today and I have the Sony 11mm than the 15mm 1.4 and Sigma 18-50 but on the 11mm I want wider Plus I feel even though a great copy as I tried it on the A7RV for now and wonderful lens but I feel it is more a vloggers lens. I don't shoot video at all really.

Also on these super wides I like very wide and im old school. Manual focus and all that is just fine with me.

Couple things like vignetting they all do it and we can control that fairly easy in Raw post which that's all I do is shoot RAW and im an expert in C1 so that is not the issue. Things I can't fix like nice sunstars ( Nisi Here) or distortion which are both pretty good. Size and weight the Laowa wins here. OR I can go get the Voightlander 10mm which than I could even use on my A7RV

From a few reviews the Nisi looks like the better lens optically

Just wanted to read some thoughts. I will probably sell the 11mm as my 15 is quite fast when needed and it's pretty wide. I don't shoot astro either.

I like the Laowa. It's a great real estate or ultra wide landscape lens.

You already put the 11 up for sale. You don't even have the 6700 yet. Shoot with it for a week before you decide, Guy. You may end up loving it.

6700 comes today. The 9mm does interest me more but I want small looks like the Laowa 9mm might be the answer. I miss not having a manual focus lens

Nothing is selling around here these days.

If you want to share between the 6700 and rV, Laowa does make a 9/5.6 that will cover both. I don't use anything that wide on a FF, but Bastian at PR preferred it over the CV 10.

I’m still debating this camera in hand now and the 11 is nice on it. I may just wait a week

So lets go over the FF equivalents

9mm = 13.5
10mm = 15
11mm= 16.5
15mm= 22.5
16mm= 24
18mm =27

What we all need to remember especially on the very wide side of this a 1mm difference can be huge in the viewfinder and file

For me going 11mm to 9mm that's a 16.5 to 13.5 that is huge difference

The better optically lens with awesome Sunstars is the Nisi 9mm from what im reading . Problem is it's bigger than the Lawoa and im having a hard time pulling the trigger on that one as I want only as big as my 11mm. Big filter size difference as well 49 vs 67. Laowa being smaller

Laowa seems to be on sale too.

Honestly I bought the 11mm with my fingers crossed and had a not wide enough feeling plus I got the 15mm which im not selling . I like that one a lot as 22.5 is great with AF and 1.4

The 15 really is stellar. It's an aps-c GM.

It's really a nice lens not the cheapest at 750 but its not leaving the bag and I would agree its a GM optically. I need to get out to Big Bronco and test these but out of the 3 I have no question the 15 seems the best .
